Our new seat & post combo
I love the SPRFLS blog, it’s bloody genius. Russ always pokes fun at photos of bike parts on scales, and so I couldn’t resist! 220grams of lusciousness.
Here’s something we’ve been working on for a while now – our first seat. Actually, it’s a seat and seatpost combo. While I wasn’t going for ultimate lightness over durability, this seat actually hits lots of nails on the head – it weighs barely 220g, the shape is dialled, the lightly-padded upper is coated in Kevlar so it should last and last, the angle seems spot-on, it’s right tuff, it’s embroidered with a sweet logo, and so far it’s had thumbs up from our team – so we’ll be going into production in the New Year.
