Deluxe up in print, 2

Another Deluxe item in print, this time, our new grips have been featured in this month’s new Freedom Magazine from Germany; those guys know what’s up. If, like me, your German’s not up to par, then no worries – thankfully Martin Ohliger sent me a translation: “Trails riders have some sort of special connection to Mother Nature because they spend most of their time in the woods. It’s obvious that they use recycled rubber for their grips and are pretty dedicated environmentalists to save more of the woods where they can chop trees, dig huge holes and make barbecues.”
Thanks for the review! Nice one. Martin also told me about Freedom’s style of reviews as well… “Perhaps you will be a little surprised not to find more ‘real’ info on the grips. Don’t be offended, it’s part of the concept of our product page to only highlight exceptional features – in this case the recycled rubber – because we want those pages to be a little different to a catalogue.” Good point – and good work Freedom: the way some other mags simply rehash product info from advertisers’ web sites is just… yaaaawwwwnnn. Why not just go the whole hog and get the ad manager to do the product write-up? And then write “advertising promotion” at the top of the page and at least keep it honest…
Anyway, thanks Freedom! Good stuff.
