Alex Boyd put together a new edit, featuring some sweet southern trails riding, including Davros’s local spot. So, to find out a little more about it, here’s a quick Q&A with Alex.

Nice video… who’s on it? The video stars famous Somerset pros such as Ross Hatch, Mike Westlake, Matt Cable, myself, Colum Walshe, Jim Davage, Ricky Hudson, Ross Dummet, locals of places, Anthony Milliar – BMX and MTB – and Chris Milliar.

Nice. Where did you film the clips? Our trails got ploughed halfway through summer, so we took it upon ourselves to roooadtrip to others: Wisley, Winchester, Saltash, Petersfield, Kerswell, Bristol and Bath. Think that’s all of ‘em!

What was the best set of trails you filmed at? It’s hard to say! Each trails have their own savage parts, have to say though, biggg shout to Winchester folks for building Backline, every person I know who has ridden it thinks it’s like flying! Saltash is absolutely mind boggling how they came up with the stuff there! And Wisley was an eye opener, I arrived at the jam and just walked around in amazement for a while…

How long did it take you to put the video together? Probably about an hour or so, the video was collected from early this year up until recent.

What’s next? Well, more and more people are up for this whole trails kerfuffle this year, so we’ve got two spots: one we’ve just started is where I learnt to ride about four years ago. It’s sandy so we can ride through winter! And the other are some woooods that are gonna be sorted for the summer months. I’ll put up a digging / riding edit soon, as Motion has reopened and it’s hella fun!

Below, here’s Josh Turner. He just bought himself a Casselberry Red L (the 20.7″ tt) frame and is clearly stoked on it - he just spent the weekend digging his new local spot, and riding Motion skatepark. Good times, keep it up man!
